Citizens' Advisory Council
CAC Membership
The law that was passed by the Maryland General Assembly in 2006 establishing the CAC stated that the members of the CAC would be selected by the President of the Senate, the Speaker of the House, the Mayor of the City of Baltimore, and the Governor or, at the Governor's discretion, the Maryland Transit Administrator. The law also established that the Maryland Transit Administrator shall designate two co-chairs of the Advisory Council by selecting one from a list of two names provided by the President of the Senate, and one from a list of two names provided by the Speaker of the House.
